That stare, our eyes meet
signalling my will's defeat
is this just pure lust
something you shouldn't trust
or maybe raw emotion
like a raging ocean
the fixation in your eyes
hides the evil, a disguise
if only it were different
you would be godsent
alas! life is never fair
your beauty, this as hair
frail and futile, if you see
only you and me, never a 'we'

This is very good, I like 90% of the poem, LOL all accept the hovering dust part, ;) that's all that is keeping away the :+fav:. Over all it's a very good poem, :D I love the rhymes as well. Excellent work.
