This is me

Enough of life is what i've had,
scarred of a stick by my dad,
emotions running wild, temper flared,
try to understand the real me, is all I ever said,
confidence shattered like glitter scattered,
love hurt, bruised and battered,
self mutilation was a passion,
soon found out twas others fashion,
modesty forms the essence of my soul,
it was she who made me again one whole.
